Down, Set Hike

by Robert Dillingham Friday, September 3rd

The Indian Creek Braves faced off against Owen Valley. Robert Dillingham reports.

The Braves took on Owen Valley on September 7th and lost considerably at home. The Braves did their best but couldn’t come out on top. In the first quarter, Sam Creek was injured, but we were assured he would return to the field. Brandon Murray and James Kelly helped us gain yard, and Aiden Neathery got our first down. Murray and Lance Butler also made some good stops, but we still ended the first quarter with the score of 0 to 14.

As the second quarter started, Owen Valley continued raking in the points, but the Creek Crazies didn't give up hope! However, despite their best attempts, the Braves could not beat Owen Valley. We were able to score one touchdown, ending the game 7 to 35.
