Lay Down the Racket

The boys tennis season has reached its conclusion, and until the spring, the court will remain barren and unused. The team finished their season with an overall record of 18 wins and zero losses, making this year’s tennis team undefeated. Additionally, the team came out as the WIC Champion.

Here’s to hoping next year will be just as spectacular! Go Braves!

The First Serve

Your Indian Creek tennis team began their season with a superstar performance against Brown County, ending the night with a five to nothing victory. With the season off to such a good start, players are going to strive for this to be their best year yet. Peyton Strunk (junior) said, “It was nice to be out on the courts playing. I enjoyed the feeling of playing against another school, representing Indian Creek. I look forward to creating our highest win streak in ICHS tennis history.” With players having this attitude towards the future season, this may come to be the most competitive and lively season yet, but only time will tell. Keep an eye on your schedules and try to make it to as many games as possible. The full schedule is available at indiancreekathletics.com, and the next home match is scheduled for Tuesday, Sep. 6 at Greenwood Community High School.
