Dear Families,

This week we asked ourselves, 'Are all families the same?' The children have enjoyed looking at our family photo's and comparing them.  Next week we will be thinking about how we have changed since we were babies, so we will need to look at photos of the children as babies. Please send your child's baby picture to gboffice@newwavefederation.co.uk or bring in a hard copy. In our phonics lessons, we have learned 5 new sounds and began reading simple words. In maths we have started our focus on numbers, counting and ordering numbers to 3.

A friendly reminder that next Friday (29/9) we will be hosting our first Family Friday where from 3pm we invite you into our classrooms to read a story with your child. Please speak to a member of the team if you have any questions.
