Week ending Friday 5th July

Dear Families,

This week the we have started out final topic, 'Super Duper You'. We have been looking at all of the things that the children have achieved since the start of Reception. It has been fantastic to see the children reflect on their learning and celebrate all of their hard work.

In our writing lessons, the children could write about how they have grown physically and about all of the things that they have learned this year. The children were so proud to discuss all of the things that they have accomplished. In maths, our focus has been on measurement. We have compared length, weight and capacity , ensuring that we are using the correct vocabulary when describing something.

A friendly reminder that on the 15th of July we will be talking a trip to the Clissold Park Splash Pad, so please ensure that you have returned your child's sign form before then! You should have also recieved a letter about our Super Duper Me Celebration on Tuesday 23rd July. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding any of our end of year events.

Have a restful weekend.

Best Wishes,

The Reception team.
