Howler Staff
Diana Lopez
Hey, I’m Diana Lopez! I am the editor-in-chief and creator of the Husky Howler. I am in 12th grade, and I’m a part of the International Thespian Society as well as the NECP volleyball team. I created the Husky Howler to allow students to improve and focus on their writing skills. I also wanted to give students a way to receive news regarding their school and local community. My plan after NECP is to go to college as an English major and eventually break into the publication industry. I can’t wait to work with the talented staff we have put together and make this year one to remember.

Octavius Person
Hello, everyone! My name is Octavius Person, and I am a senior at NECP. I am a Co-editor for The Husky Howler along with Emily McCutcheon. As a student, I am involved in a variety of clubs, such as the International Thespian Society and the American Sign Language Honors Society. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing games, and talking to my friends. In the future, I would like to attend A&T University for Graphic Design. I have always been interested in storytelling and composing, so when approached with the idea of editing a student-run newspaper for the school, they were immediately on board.
