Soccer 

Varsity soccer game 

Our NECP varsity soccer team played against GCHS. There was a very intense beginning with the ball going back and forth between teams.  After some attempts from our soccer team, the first three goals were made by GCHS, and then NECP scored a goal against GCHS. With a score of 5-2, our team lost but gave it their all.  Alex Richardson, our goalkeeper said, “We played a good game but there are some things we could’ve done better.” Jesus Alanzo said, “ We played like a team. We tried our best, we did our best, and it was a good game."

Volleyball 

IT’S SENIOR NIGHT! 

On Thursday, October 12th, our Girls Varsity Volleyball team left their match feeling elated. Not only was it senior night, but our Huskies defeated Tarboro High in all three sets. The Scores for the first set were 25-11, the second set was 25-15, and the final set was 25-20. The girls demonstrated great acts of communication and teamwork.  All the seniors on the team were recognized by their staff and family with posters. Congratulations, Cailyn Holiday, Molly Palmer, Cheyenne Holland, and Diana Lopez, Class of 24’, on your great accomplishments. Congratulations, Husky girls, on winning your match!
