Myself
Years.
Years I believed that I was less than.
Not more than.
That I was less than myself.
That I didn’t deserve to be able to be proud of myself.
I didn’t allow myself to be proud if I had all A’s.
I should’ve made all 100s.
I didn’t allow myself to be proud if I beat my time in cross country.
I didn’t allow myself to believe that I could ever have a future in writing.
I went years believing that if my mind said I wasn’t enough then I was just that.
Not enough.
I let my own thoughts overpower my thoughts of being proud and happy.
With disappointment and sorrow.
I say no more.
I will no longer live by the norm of judging myself and judging others.
I will no longer be disappointed with myself.
I will be proud of whatever I do because doing that is enough.
I am enough for myself and that is all that matters.

The Accident
Once upon a time, there was a girl named London. She was nine years old and was playing with her friends. When a guy named Max bumped into London, and London fell into a brick wall. Max was trying to catch the football that he and his friends were playing with. London asked if the teachers could get her sister and her brother, and they did as she asked. Emery was her twin brother, while Jenny was her older sister. After the teachers agreed to take London to the hospital, one of the teachers took Jenny and Emery to the hospital. After almost three hours of sitting there, seeing if there was anything wrong with her skull, the cut was only half a centimeter. The next day, everybody checked on her, but there wasn’t anything wrong with her. Max did apologize and made her feel even better. Now everything has returned to normal, and nothing crucial ever happened.
