Our learner profile is adults seeking training for employment and upskilling purposes. NCU Training deals directly with the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and its agents within the Local Partnerships to provide suitable certified training to people on the live register seeking employment. We also specialise in Community Employment Scheme (CE) participants training. Learner numbers from the employed sector are growing, particularly with our Home Care, Safety & Health and awareness courses.
NCU Training programmes are delivered primarily in the Glin Centre, Coolock, Dublin 17. We have six training rooms, two computer suites and four multi-purpose rooms. We also provide in-house workplace training programmes; catering for six to fifteen learner’s in-group formats for organisations. The organisation arranges approved facilities suitable for the delivery of training sessions.
All our programmes incorporate face-to-face, delivered tuition. We use blended learning technology tools to enhance the learning experience allowing us to offer more resources to our learners on dedicated learner platforms.
