OBJECTIVES:
- Based off your 1st semester grades, you will create one long-term and three short-term SMART goals that you will use to measure your 2nd semester grades.
KEY TERMS:
- SMART Goal:
- SMART: (s- specific), (m-measurable), (a- attainable), (r- realistic), (t- timebound)
- Long Term Goal:
- A long term goal is a goal that spans longer periods of time (typically 6 months or longer).
- Short Term Goal:
- A short term goal is a goal that is designed to be completed in a short period of time (a few days to weeks).
NAME TANGLE PROJECT DIRECTIONS:
For this assignment, you will be completing the checklist and smart goal template in reference to your first semester grades. Refer to the examples above for ideas. Follow and check off the steps below to ensure that you are completing this project to the best of your ability.
- Write out all of the assignments, due dates, and percentages received on 1st semester assignments.
- Write 1 long-term goal you have that you wish to accomplish by the end of the second semester.
- Write 3 short-term goals that will help you achieve your long-term goal that you just wrote.
- Have parents review, write a short summary, and sign it.
