We hope to cheer the elderly up during the holiday season, since they may not have anyone to celebrate with or may be homebound. Community Services has an elderly outreach program that assists the elderly in need, so we decided to provide them with holiday cards to give to those they serve.

Current Efforts:
- Both leadership classes used a class period to make paper cards and decorated them with cut outs and drawings.
- Student Council donated candy canes to give out with the holiday season cards.
- We also made Valentine cards in February

2018-2019 Food Drive and Card Making
- Students in Leadership classes and Student Council organized a food drive for the MVCS Elder Group.
- Culinary Arts students made pies for the Elders.
- Bags of food with cards and a pie were prepared for the each of the Elders.
