Cafeteria Interior Enhancement
We are exploring ways to make the cafeteria a more inviting space. It is a valuable gathering space for our school. We eat meals, hold banquets and events in the space, and we use the space for important meetings and trainings. We want the space to be welcoming, flexible, and accommodating for all of our school needs.

Current Efforts:
We wanted to switch out the last season photos with newer photos, so we gathered new pictures sent in from students to give a more fresh look.
We cropped and printed the photos
We installed the photos in the displays.

2018-2019 Planning and Designing
We surveyed the student body.
We found that 72.7% of students said they would like to see a new paint color, 56.6% of students voted white and purple. Three paint colors have been suggested: a light purplish-gray for the walls, white for the wood paneling, and a darker purple for the accent wall.
Students were interested in seeing a student artwork display. A layout for the student art display wall has been set and approved. It will go on the wall with the sculpture on it and will feature an 8 by 3 grid of student photography and artwork. The sculpture was moved in preparation of the display.
Three new microwaves and carts were ordered and assembled. They will go all around the cafeteria to provide better access to microwaves during lunch.
