In spring 2020, when the pandemic hit and our school went to remote learning, senior families had to navigate a really different type of closure to the school year.  The families wanted to offer a gift to the school to mark the graduation of the Class of 2020.  They chose to make a gift of trees, to be put in the cafeteria patio area, so that they could be enjoyed by the school community for years to come.  A gift of planters was then offered by the class of 2021, and those two gifts have been the start of what may become a senior legacy gift, given in the spirit of thankfulness to the whole school community, for supporting the journey of the graduating class, and marking the class's graduation from MVRHS.
