Black Student Alliance
What is BSA?
The Black Student Alliance is a group that serves as an advocate of the Black/African American student experience to create community and serve as an ally to all other underrepresented voices on campus. All BIPOC students are welcome.
Purposes and Goals
Foster social and instrumental support for BIPOC/WOC students
Advocate for the needs of students of color and provide a voice (representation) in the school and MV community.
Explore the BIPOC/WOC experience through conversation, community outreach, and engagement
Career and college preparation, exploration, and mentorship
Provide an opportunity for students of all races to celebrate black culture and history (BSA)
Serve as a liaison between students of African descent and other minorities and the campus
Activities:
Field Trips (MV Museum/AAHT)
Social Networking Activities
Anti- Racist /A long Talk/CPR Training
Legacy Program (Personal Pitch)
Bulletin Board, Food Sharing, Cultural Celebration
Capstone Project

How to participate:
We meet Thursdays during 2nd Flex in the library and scheduled times after school. Come eat with us during first flex.
