As we walked around our school, we  examined it, focusing on the artwork put up over the years and the deep explanation that they required. We also noticed that there were no paintings of any parts of the school, we wanted to reflect on who we are as an island and what we stand for. We figured we would take a picture of the front of the school but as we walked around we found that there were many more options. We ended up making the paining of the vineyard pride building, that is soon to be torn down, we will have the buildings remembrance in our school as a paint by numbers created by the leadership class of 23-24, by Isabella Silva and Maeve Cook-Martin, with the help of Erin Slossberg and Mrs. Shoquist, as well as Leon the head custodean.

• In this class we have made an advancement in the artwork.

• Made a painting that doesn't take reading to understand, its simply a painting of a monumental place.

• Its a painting that reflects our island and community and what we stand for.

• We started off be creating an idea of what we wanted and making a plan of how to get everything we needed.

• Once we took the picture we made a format of colors that we were able to select with an app.

• With the help of Dr. Munn we were able to see what paints we already had and didn't need to buy, she also gave us a paint wheel to find the paints we did need.

• After finding all the paints, we ordered the ones we needed and waited for our frame to come.

• After our frame arrived, with the help of Leon and Mrs. Shoquist we were able to put or frame together and begin the process of painting.

• Our painting process to a while but we pulled it together and were able to finish.

• With Leon helping us mount our painting it is now up and taking space, hopefully people will see it as a positive advancement it our community.
