Dance Teacher, Montgomery Township School District

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Amanda Osborne to the Montgomery Township Visual and Performing Arts family.  In this coming school year, 2025-2026, Ms. Osborne will be teaching introductory level dance courses available to our 7th-12th grade students as well as starting our first ever Unified Arts Program at Montgomery High School through Unified Dance. 

As the program develops, we plan to offer more specific and skill based courses for our students.  We are excited to grow this program into explorations of different cultures and styles of dance.  Ms. Osborne brings a wealth of experience and passion to her students that will be invaluable to them and our school district as this program takes flight!

Ms. Osborne is a graduate of Rutgers University's Graduate School of Education, where she earned an Ed.M in Dance Education.  She also holds a BFA in Dance with a double major in English from Mason Gross School of the Arts.  While at Rutgers, Ms. Osborne was inducted into the collegiate level of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and graduated with high honors.  Her performance experience includes work by faculty choreographers such as Ani Javian and Jon Evans, along with numerous student pieces.  During her undergraduate studies, she selected as an Arnhold Summer Fellow through the Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.  Ms. Osborne also works as the Assistant Director of the Rutgers Summer Dance Conservatory.  She is trained in and has taught a wide range of dance styles, and is excited to explore diverse movement practices with her students in the coming school year!  Ms. Osborne can be reached at aosborne@mtsd.us
