In class we made resumes for our internships that we are doing in March. I talked about my experiences, my skills, activities i do, and project that relate to where I want  to intern. My top choices for this is the humane society, 81301, and alpine animal hospital. I made resumes for a couple places, Alpine animal hospital, the humane society, and summit fitness.

This year we got to choose to intern at places. I chose to intern at Alpine animal Hospital. When I was here I got to watch the doctors operate and treat the patients. This veterinarian office does what they do so that animals and pets don't have suffer and live in pain. I chose to intern here because ever since I was in preschool I wanted to be a vet so this was my chance to see what it was like. I learned so much stuff from this experience and it really inspired me to become a vet or something in the medical field for my career. This internship impacted my future because now i am more into being a vet, and this will shape where I go to collage and how my life will be down the road. I made an impact on my community because I helped peoples pets and I will impact my community in the future by becoming a veterinarian and helping peoples pets more.

After everyday we had to write in our journals about what we had done that day. It included the new things we learned, how we helped, who we interacted with, what habits of heart and mind we used, any conflicts we had, and then the overall feelings and thoughts of the day. Each day I filled this out and I wrote a lot about the animals that I saw and helped. After our experience we presented a slide show to the 7th graders telling them what we did and the tips that we wanted to share with them. 

On my presentation I got an exceeds because I presented confidently and I refined my work very thoroughly. Then I got a meets on my Internship journal.
