We had an exhibition about ecoregions. I got assigned to the Sonoran desert so me and my partners researched about it and learned many cool facts. At our exhibition we had to present on stage in front of a very big audience. I got an exceed on this because I spoke with confidence and I memorized my script without needing to look at it a single time.
In class we looked at posters that had pictures of cells on them and we had to draw them and write what they were and what they do.
We have been watching videos about archaeologists collecting soil to try and find DNA in.
In this project we researched about a river. I had to research about the Gunnisson river water quality. Then we had an exhibition about it and presented about the water quality of the Gunnison river.
In this, we had to make a poster about a certain river that we wanted to research about
Right now is class we are learning about the human body system. We had to choose 3 systems and and draw them on a human out line. After we did that, we had to figure out how those systems have evolved from fish. In this new unit I have learned so much. One of such is that we actually evolved from fish. And if you look at baby human embryos and shark embryo you can see how similar they are to each other. The 3 systems we did were the female reproductive system, the hair/nail system, and the muscle system.
