Goal reflection

My goal for respect was that I would remind my friends to be quiet when the teacher was talking. My reflection on respect went well because I did remind my friends to be quiet and I didn’t need to ask as many questions because I wasn’t distracted. Like one time during class one of my friends was starting to talk to me. Then I told them that I was listening to the teacher and asked them to be quiet so I could hear all the directions.

Respect-

Respect is the ability to recognize and appreciate the rights, beliefs, practices, and differences of other people

Goal for Respect: My goal for respect is to not talk in classes when we are not supposed to and when the teacher asks to be quiet we be quiet.

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Respect...

One thing I commit to doing is

If my friends start talking to me I will remind them to be quiet while the teachers talking.

Also to pay attention and wait for an appropriate time to talk with them.

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

They will see me paying attention and not be reminded to be quiet. I will not talk.

The difference it will make is...

The difference this will make is the teacher will not have to tell us to listen to what we are doing. We won't disrupt people who are working.

Goal reflection

My goal for integrity was going to remind people to act professional and to do the right thing. My goal went OK because I didn't really tell people to act professional but I did tell people to do the right thing. Because once a kid next to me was playing games but we were not supposed to so I told them they should be working on what the teacher told us to be working on. That is why I think I did ok on my integrity goal.

Integrity-

My definition of Integrity is doing kind things even if someone is or isn't watching.

Goal for Integrity: My goal for integrity is Providing reminders to others to act professionally and do the right thing.

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for integrity...

I will try to remind people to act professional and to do the right thing.

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

Others will know I am doing this because they will see me reminding others to stay on topic and to act professional.

The difference it will make is...

The difference it will make is there will be less people goofing off in class and the teacher will not have to remind them to be quiet or to listen.

Goal reflection

My goal for effort was when I don't know the answer to a problem I would try again slower to see what I did wrong and if it made more sense. My goal went well because I had a khan academy test and I got all the answers right. I am getting better at math without help from the teacher and I am putting a lot more time into each problem instead of going really fast to get thru it.

Definition of Effort: My definition of Effort is trying your hardest even if it is hard

Goal for Effort: Works through challenges before asking for help.

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Respect...

Maybe when I don’t know the answer I will try again slower to see if the answer makes more sense.

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me..

Others will know I am doing this because they will see me working hard on my work and not getting the teacher as often.

The difference it will make is...

The difference it will make is me working harder and also it will help the teacher help people who really actually need it.

Goal reflection

My goal for refinement was that I would go back thru my work before I turn it in. My goal went well because I went thru my work and made everything look good. I am getting better grades and understanding things if I get it wrong. I think I have done very well in my goal.

Refinement-

Definition of Refinement: My definition of refinement is once I am done with something like homework after I think I am done I will go back through it and check to make sure everything looks good

Goal for Refinement: I will go back thru my work to check it before I turn it in.

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Refinement…. I will go read thru my work to see if I can make any changes to it.

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

Others will know I am actually doing this when they see me going back thru my work and making changes to it.

The difference it will make is...

The difference this will make is me getting better grades.
