Complaints received will be investigated by the Hospital Management / Department / Unit Pathology.
The investigation period depends on the type of complaint received, as follows:
i) General Complaints:
The investigation will be completed within 15 working days.
Examples of complaints:
Related to unsatisfactory quality of service/attitude.
Delays in receiving test reports.
Staff behavior/rudeness.
ii) Complex Complaints:
The investigation will be completed within 16-365 working days.
Examples of complaints:
Misconduct by Ministry of Health (MOH) staff.
Medico-legal complaints.
Patient death due to treatment errors/delays.
Complaints that cannot be resolved within 15 working days.
Complaints that have the information of the complainant will be given feedback after the investigation is completed (for complex complaints, feedback will be provided within 15 working days while the investigation is being conducted).
All information provided is subject to Akta Rahsia Rasmi 1972 (Akta 88) and will only be used in the investigation process.
