Welcome to The Midwife Center!
From your very first visit, we want you to be involved in and informed about your pregnancy. A good way to start is to read over this handbook and refer to it often.
Throughout this Handbook and our other materials, we use both gender-neutral and gender-specific language inclusive of cis-women, trans-people, and gender non-conforming birthing people.
Our staff (and clientele) is comprised of cisgender women, transgender people, and gender expansive people. The hospital healthcare teams we transfer clients to (as needed) are also comprised of cisgender women, transgender people, and gender expansive people. Please make sure that people joining you for appointments, while in labor, or visiting you postpartum are aware and behave respectfully at all times.
Monday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Wellness Walk-In Fridays 12:30-5:00pm)
Each appointment includes time for discussion, teaching and planning. We feel that this one-on-one time with providers is one of the qualities that distinguish our practice.
We try to respect your time by not double-booking appointments and by making every attempt to begin your visit promptly. We ask in return that you call ahead to cancel appointments you cannot keep, and that you make every effort to adhere to the time limits of your visits.
If you miss more than half of your appointment, you will need to reschedule.
