Weekly Update 9/19/25
We are excited to invite our 7th and 8th grade parents in for our annual Open House on Thursday, September 25 from 6:00-7::30 pm. Parking will be available in the yellow, red and orange lots surrounding the middle school. A complete description of the event is in the letter linked below.
You are welcome to walk around the school, meet teachers, and see classrooms at your own pace. You can come at any time during the hour and a half. We encourage you to bring your student with you (please leave siblings at home). Report first to your student’s homeroom where you will receive directions and their schedule. The self-directed tour should take less than an hour to complete.
To make your experience more enjoyable and to ensure that you get to see all we have to offer, we encourage you to participate in our “Maryvale Middle School Passport” activity. As you visit various areas of the school, you will receive a “stamp” on your passport. Fill your passport, and your student will receive a coupon for a FREE ice cream during lunch.

We have many clubs and intramurals starting to meet already. We are compiling a list of clubs and intramurals, along with their respective advisors and meeting dates into one document for students and parents. Once completed, we will link it to this page and to the students' Grade Level Google Classrooms. In the meantime, watch the Flyer News for meeting dates and times.
21st Century Program/YWCA
We are pleased to announce Maryvale Intermediate and Middle Schools are partnering with YWCA Western New York to provide an extended learning program through the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center (21stCCLC) grant.
The program is provided free of charge to all families. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, from 2:15pm to 5:45pm for Middle School students. More information and the registration link can be found below or by clicking here.
