Today's Events
We ran our first on-site evacuation drill this morning. The students did a great job, allowing us to move over 500 students to the high school and take full attendance of students, faculty and staff in less than 15 minutes.
Unfortunately, our presenter from the Family Justice Center turned ill and had to cancel our presentations for our 7th and 8th graders. However, there is a resource guide below that may benefit our students and families.
Progress Reports
Five-week progress reports are available on Parent Portal. If you are having trouble accessing Parent Portal, you can have you student sign in to their Student Portal account. We also sent paper copies home for any student failing two or more classes.
Fall Activity Night
In order to ensure our students and their families can participate in Beggars' Night, we are moving our first activity night to November 14th. Our Student Council is working on a new theme and activities for this event.
We have many clubs and intramurals starting to meet already. Please see the list of the clubs, meeting times and locations below.
21st Century Program/YWCA
We are pleased to announce Maryvale Intermediate and Middle Schools are partnering with YWCA Western New York to provide an extended learning program through the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center (21stCCLC) grant.
The program is provided free of charge to all families. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, from 2:15pm to 5:45pm for Middle School students. More information and the registration link can be found below or by clicking here.
