Weekly Update 8/22/25
The middle school has undergone a significant facelift this summer. We also have many new staff members due to retirements, promotions, newly created positions and individual seeking new and exciting opportunities. While this means that we have lost some excellent and experienced educators, we also have the opportunity to recruit new educators with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Some of the improvements that we have made to the physical building include, milling and repaving the front parking lot, adding curb cuts and striping around the district to assist students and employees in navigating our campus, now paint and graphics throughout the building, new lockers and new furniture in various parts of the building.
Our assistant principal, Ms. Patterson-Bancroft, has been promoted to the principal of the Intermediate School. As Ms. Patterson-Bancroft starts her new journey, we have selected Mrs. Kristin Fowler-Herdlein as our next assistant principal. Mrs. Fowler-Herdlein will be present at our sixth grade orientation and will officially start on the first day of school. Please see her introductory letter below.
Schedules
Our counselors have been working hard throughout the summer to enter and finalize schedules. Schedules are now active in the Student and Parent Portals. Please note that locker information will not be available yet, as the new locker and locker combinations are still being entered into eSchool.

Welcome Back Letters and Information
Important information regarding the beginning of the school year has been linked below. While many of these documents have been sent home, there are others that have not. Many of these documents are also available on the District/School website and/or the Google Classrooms that we set up for each grade level.
After we complete the 6th grade orientation and our class meetings, we will post the corresponding presentations on this page for your reference. They will also be posted on your child's grade level classroom.
