Weekly Update 9/12/25
Our students have done a great job keeping their devices in their lockers and taking care of our building. We appreciate the support that parents have provided to help us with these initiatives the first two weeks of school.
We are going to continue our fire/evacuation drills next week. These drills are required by the state of New York and are designed to train students on how to react in different types of emergencies.
Clubs & Intramurals
We have many clubs and intramurals starting to meet already. We are compiling a list of clubs and intramurals, along with their respective advisors and meeting dates into one document for students and parents. Once completed, we will link it to this page and to the students' Grade Level Google Classrooms. In the meantime, watch the Flyer News for meeting dates and times.
21st Century Program/YWCA
We are pleased to announce Maryvale Intermediate and Middle Schools are partnering with YWCA Western New York to provide an extended learning program through the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center (21stCCLC) grant.
The program is provided free of charge to all families. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, from 2:15pm to 5:45pm for Middle School students. More information and the registration link can be found below or by clicking here.
Open House
Open house for 7th and 8th grade will be held on Thursday, September 25th from 6:00-7:30 pm. More information will be sent home in the days leading up to the event. Sixth grade teachers will not be available on this night, as they were here and gave out information during the 6th grade orientation. If you missed it, the Slides presentation is below.
