Mrs. Shaver and Mrs. Winnicki met with 8th grade students during PE class about graduation requirements and high school courses. Individual student meetings will be held over the next few weeks to discuss course recommendations and course selections. If you have a question please reach out to your child's school counselor. Summer Camp
We are excited to share that registration for the Erie 1 BOCES middle school program Summer at the Center is now open! This year’s program has expanded to four weeks.
Week 1
July 13-17, 2026
Potter Career and Technical Center
705 Potters Rd., West Seneca
During this week, students will participate in four different sessions of their choice. Options range from Culinary and Flair for Fashion to Mini Veterinary School, Summer Build, and Spectacular Sprinklers. This is the traditional Summer at the Center format.
Weeks 2, 3, and 4 introduce our BRAND NEW 3-Day Workshop Series. This updated format allows students to select one focused workshop for the 3 days.

21st Century Program/YWCA
We are pleased to announce Maryvale Intermediate and Middle Schools are partnering with YWCA Western New York to provide an extended learning program through the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) grant.
The program is provided free of charge to all families. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, from 2:15pm to 5:45pm for Middle School students. More information and the registration link can be found below or by clicking here.
