Weekly Update 3/29/26
Tuesday, March 31st is our Cultural Day. Students will be presenting and learning about all the different cultures represented in Maryvale Middle School. Students have been working with a team of teachers to organize this event. There is a spirit week leading up to the event, which is posted below.

Below is the link for the 7th grade field trip information and permission slip. Paper waivers were handed out during lunch. Completed wiavers and the $15 for the trip will be collected starting Monday, March 30th.

Spring brake begins Friday. There is no school on Friday.
The week we get back from break, many of our 8th graders will be heading to our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. Students will have the opportunity to see monuments, museums and the home of George Washington.

Mrs. Shaver and Mrs. Winnicki met with 8th grade students during PE class about graduation requirements and high school courses. Individual student meetings will be held over the next few weeks to discuss course recommendations and course selections. If you have a question please reach out to your child's school counselor. 21st Century Program/YWCA
We are pleased to announce Maryvale Intermediate and Middle Schools are partnering with YWCA Western New York to provide an extended learning program through the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) grant.
The program is provided free of charge to all families. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, from 2:15pm to 5:45pm for Middle School students. More information and the registration link can be found below or by clicking here.
