Frida inspired animalito portraits

After listening to the read aloud, Frida Kahlo and her Animalitos, students began drawing their own self portraits. We used pencil and sharpie to draw our portraits, and then picked at least 5 animals to add to the background. Week 2 we finished our drawings, and added crayon to our animals before going over the background with a watercolor wash.
