Monet Inspired Texture Paintings

Third grade has created paintings in the style of Monet. We discussed the life and work of the French impressionist painter. Students were then asked to create a painting in the style of the painter. The assignment was to create a work that feels like "plein air" They had to imagine sitting on a little boat in the middle of a pond and paint what they saw and felt.
