Eric Carle inspired insects

This Eric Carle inspired project was so fun to create! The first week of this project we listened to music and painted what we heard. large warm colored papers and cool colored papers were created depending on the song. The following week we read , The very lonely firefly , by Eric Carle. Students were asked to cut and glue shapes on their paper to represent bugs and insects. the results are beautiful!
