  1. Independent reading

  2. Final TDA practice with "To Be of Use." Write a group thesis and organize your ideas as if you were going to write the essay.

  3. Prompt: What is the social commentary of the poem and how is it developed throughout the piece?

    • Read it.

    • Annotate it. (Notice "moves" the author makes--devices/paraphrase)

    • Group the poem into sections

    • Write a thesis.

    • Outline your ideas.

  4. If time allows, write an individual thesis for "The Unknown Citzen"

  5. Look at Creative Writing Piece and begin brainstorming your list of issues.

Homework: Finalize your list of ideas for the social commentary creative writing. Add to the planning doc.
