It’s hard to believe, but 360s are almost here! Use the link below to schedule your learner’s 360. Simply follow these steps:
Find your learner’s mentor’s name.
Select an available time slot.
Write your learner’s name in the chosen slot.
If you have any questions about the process, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!
A "360" is a holistic reflection process where learners assess their growth, strengths, and areas for improvement over the cycle. It includes feedback from multiple perspectives, self, peers, and learning guides, to give a well-rounded view of their progress.
During a 360 session, learners share their achievements, challenges, and future goals. This process helps them develop self-awareness, communication skills, and accountability. It’s also a great opportunity for families to understand how their child is growing and how to support them further.
We encourage you to discuss your child’s 360 at home to celebrate their learning journey!
At Learnlife, one of our greatest strengths is the richness of our community. Many of you bring unique skills, passions, and experiences, and we would love to collaborate with you to enrich our learners’ journeys.
We’ve created a short form for parents who are interested in offering a workshop, giving a talk, proposing an outing, or supporting in other ways. Having you involved not only deepens the learning opportunities for our learners but also strengthens the bonds across our community.
If you are interested, please take a few minutes to fill in the form [link]. We are excited to explore new ways of creating and learning together with you!
On December 10 we will be celebrating the first Showcase of the year! Showcase runs from 4 to 6, and it’s one of those afternoons where the whole space really comes alive. Learners present twice for 30 min, either in the 4:00 & 5:00 shift or the 4:30 & 5:30 shift, depending on their group. Learners start the day at 12:00, as they stay longer for showcase.
It’s a bit like a big project fair — learners choose the project they’re most proud of, set up their space, and share their thinking, process, and growth with anyone who walks by. It’s all about making learning visible, and you can feel the energy the moment a young person starts talking about something they built or discovered on their own terms.
We’ll finish with our traditional Show Show from 6:00 to roughly 7:30, hosted by learners, with live presentations and live music to close the evening on a high note.
Our January Intensive runs from the 8th to the 23rd, and it’s a moment when the whole community — Explorers, Creators, and Changemakers — mixes into new groups and spends two weeks diving deep into a single area of learning.
Because of this shared structure, the schedule for everyone during Intensives is 10:00 to 16:00, so we can keep all groups aligned and fully engaged in the experience. Still, we know some learners have different rhythms, so Explorers who usually arrive at 9:00 are welcome to come early and there will be someone in the space; the same goes for Creators and Changemakers who want to stay until 17:00 to continue working on their projects or requirements.
We’re currently gathering preferences, but possible intensives include creative writing, big art, photography, city exploration, psychology, yoga, music, game design, cinema, scriptwriting, and nature-based learning — we’ll confirm final options as soon as they’re ready.
We are excited to bring back the Parent Coffees, where we invite you to the Hub to enjoy a coffee / tea with us, ask questions, connect with other parents, and strengthen our community. The upcoming dates are:
Friday, 28 November 2025, 9:00–10:00
Join us on Thursday, November 27th at 6pm for our second joint Parent Learning Module. This virtual experience enables us to connect families from all three Hubs.
In this first interactive module, we’ll focus on how you can talk with your learner about their own learning. We’ll look at what Building Blocks are and how they develop over time, not as checklists but as natural steps in their growth. You’ll get simple ways to spark conversations that help your child notice their progress and understand what’s happening in their learning process. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of how to support these reflections at home in a grounded, everyday way.
If you would like to send us questions in advance, to make sure we cover them, please use this link by November 21st: https://forms.gle/rLxyGTwcdgH1dx2e9
As we move into December and January, we wanted to share a quick update on AP preparation. We ordered the exams, and this next stretch is an important phase in helping students feel confident and ready.
Learning will continue steadily through December and January. During the showcase, 360, and intensive weeks, 9–10am AP classes will still run as normal.
Learning Guides will also provide independent learning packs to keep students on track when schedules shift.
Across all showcase prep and 360 days (including prep), Nicole will be available for drop-in tutoring to support any questions, challenges, or clarifications.
In January, the 9–10am classes continue, and we will also open 4–5pm AP exam classes as focused revision sessions aligned with each subject’s revision guide:
This document explains how learners at Learnlife can obtain the Spanish ESO certificate — relevant for families whose learners:
attended Learnlife before our accreditation (2023–2024 or earlier),
did not follow the ESO track at Learnlife and would now like to, or
have previous learning journeys not fully accredited in Spain.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a short meeting to discuss your learner’s specific situation, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
As part of our alignment process across all Hubs, we’re excited to introduce a unified approach to behavior expectations and protocols. This framework is designed to ensure consistency, clarity, and fairness, supporting a positive and respectful environment for all Learners and Learning Guides.
Additionally, we’ve streamlined behavior protocols to provide clear steps for addressing challenges. The process prioritizes restorative practices, encouraging learners to reflect, recognize responsibility, and find constructive solutions.
By unifying these guidelines, we aim to create a cohesive experience across all Hubs, reinforcing our shared values and commitment to a nurturing, learner-centered community.
Below you can find the tech and device policy shown during the welcome back presentation. Please read the presentation for our recommendations on child protection software for devices.
Laptop and charger, Pencil Case (pens, pencils, markers / colors, highlighters, eraser, sharpener), Notebooks (lined and grid) of choice, Transparent Folder to keep loose papers, Water bottle, Headphones, Lunch & Cutlery (Important!)
*Make sure everything is named.
Your child can bring their own lunch daily. Alternatively, you can place an order for their lunch through our catering partners.
Once learners turn 16, they can leave the Hub for lunch and breaks. If your child is in Creators and under 16, they can leave the Hub for lunch with your permission. Please make sure they bring their own cutlery. We recommend that your child also bring healthy snacks with them in case they would like to eat during breaks.
