🌟 March 20th Showcase: A Celebration of Learning and Talent! 🌟
Our March 20th Showcase was an inspiring and impressive exhibition of what our learners can achieve when passion meets dedication. From creative projects to thoughtful innovations, the showcase highlighted not only their growing skills but also the power of guidance, hard work, and patience in their learning journeys.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us — and an extra shoutout to those who stayed longer for the Show Show, where learners took the stage to further demonstrate their incredible talents. It was a joy to see their confidence shine!
We’re already looking forward to the next one — stay tuned for more unforgettable moments!Â
Please find attached the 2025-2026 academic calendar. For the upcoming year, we are transitioning to a two-cycle system to allow for more in-depth learning, larger projects, and better alignment with other educational systems. This change means that throughout the learning year, there will be two intensives, two showcases, and two 360s. We believe that the Learning Vitae (LV) as a tool for tracking progress will enable more frequent and effective check-ins between parents, learners, mentors and learning guides.
Later on, we will be incorporating traditional events such as Prom, the Winter Party, and St. Jordi celebrations into the calendar. Specific dates for these events will be added once they are scheduled.
We have exciting updates regarding the AP exams for the upcoming year. As previously mentioned, the courses we will offer include:
AP English Language & Composition
AP Biology: This course will focus on the experimental part. Learners who wish to take the exam will need to study the theory independently, although we will have a Learning Guide trained in AP Biology to support them with any questions.
AP Pre-Calculus
AP Calculus AB: We will have someone trained to support this subject. However, we will not offer it as a course unless there is sufficient enrollment.
AP Modern World History: Initially, we considered offering AP Human Geography, but as our goal with APs is to ensure they are recognized by various university systems, we have opted for AP Modern History instead, as it is more broadly recognized. This course will be available to both Creators and Changemakers.
For the second year running, we're thrilled to partner with Mindvalley for the Mindvalley University (MVU) Youth Program, uniting two organizations with a shared vision for lifelong learning and holistic personal development. With an innovative and exciting program for kids and teens aged 6 to 17 years old, this year's edition in Amsterdam promises to deliver. This isn’t summer school.Â
This is next-level, real-world learning. And all this is happening while parents are engaging in their own Mindvalley University weekly program and personal growth journey. Join us for this transformative learning experience for the whole family! Sign up here to register (exclusive $400 discount available on all adult MVU tickets for Learnlife families & community):

What Are 360s?
A "360" is a holistic reflection process where learners assess their growth, strengths, and areas for improvement over the cycle. It includes feedback from multiple perspectives—self, peers, and learning guides—to give a well-rounded view of their progress.
During a 360 session, learners share their achievements, challenges, and future goals. This process helps them develop self-awareness, communication skills, and accountability. It’s also a great opportunity for families to understand how their child is growing and how to support them further.

In The RC boat design competition, we are getting a lot of progress in our designs, we have explored the ideas and create a board with benchmarks and designs, we have made our 4 views, and plans. Yesterday we created the prototypes in cardboard and 3D printed to see if all the parts will fit and how to arrange it.
During the first week of our intensive, we have been getting into the fundamentals of game design—exploring what makes a game engaging, analyzing key mechanics, and taking on creative design challenges
Learners have been analyzing and reviewing the first episodes of three TV series from different genres: Derry Girls, Chernobyl, and House. Through this, they have explored key elements of film and TV analysis.
In addition, they have started developing their own original TV series by writing a blurb and creating main characters for their pilot episode. Next week, they will continue this project by finalizing the script and filming a trailer.
The learners have been diving deep into the yoga science practices, including breathing practices, asana movement, meditation, contemplation and mantra. They have developed wellness plans, explored ethics and values, and contemplated eastern philosophy and modern psychology. Through discussions, journalism, group activities, self reflection and sound healing, the learners are cultivating a deeper relationship with their higher selves. Week Two promises more outings into nature, psychological and philosophical discussions, and, of course, daily yoga!
In the first week of our Apocalypse Intensive, we've honed essential survival skills - from creating our own language to mastering survival cooking and food preservation. We've tested our fitness, learned self defense, navigated the wilderness, and faced rock climbing challenges. Next week, we’ll put everything to the test with an overnight camping adventure as the Apocalypse hits!
In this intensive, learners are tasked to practice healthy revision. Yes, we learn about flashcards, and active recall, and how to teach and present to improve understanding and memory retention. And just as importantly we take frequent exercise and mindfulness breaks. So yoga, tabathas, just dance, short runs and meditation is also part of our daily routine.
May 7th, 17:30 (Online/On-site) Today's children are growing up in a world vastly different from the one their parents knew—shaped by technology, social pressures, and evolving mental health challenges. This workshop equips parents with practical tools to support their children struggling with anxiety and depression, fostering understanding across generational differences.Â
We will explore the impact of nervous system regulation, sensory sensitivities, hormonal shifts, and media influence on mental health. Parents will leave with strategies to strengthen communication, provide emotional support, and create a home environment that nurtures resilience and well-being.
We are pleased to announce the upcoming "Getting the Love You Want" workshop for Learnlife couples, hosted by Caroline and Jason Bernhardt-Lanier (Ex-Learnlife Parents). This workshop is scheduled for May 10-11, 2025, at the Learnlife Urban Hub in Barcelona. It offers couples a chance to explore effective communication techniques, deepen their understanding of each other, and strengthen their relationship through a series of interactive activities. The workshop is designed to accommodate English, French, and Spanish speakers with materials available in all three languages.Â
Special Offer for Learnlife Families:

We are excited to share the Learning Vitae (LV), a dynamic tool that empowers learners to showcase their growth, skills, and achievements. This platform allows them to curate a personalized profile, which they are encouraged to update regularly.
We’re introducing a unified approach to behavior expectations and protocols across all Hubs to ensure consistency, clarity, and fairness. This framework prioritizes restorative practices, encouraging learners to reflect, take responsibility, and find constructive solutions.
Please ensure your learner brings their own cutlery to reduce waste.
Wednesdays are Salad Club—if they bring a base and one topping, they can participate.
Label all learning materials to help prevent lost items.
You can check your learner’s attendance on Edvoice at any time. If your learner will be absent or arriving late, kindly email Benedetta at benedetta@learnlife.com.
We’re always here to support you—feel free to reach out with any questions!
At Learnlife, transcripts are based on self-assessments reviewed with Learning Guides to ensure they reflect true growth—request at least one week in advance at michel@learnlife.com.
