High Honor Roll/Honor Roll/Academic Letter
Students who attain a grade point average of 3.6-4.00+ (for the grading period) will be considered high honor students. Students who attain a grade point average of 3.0-3.59 (for the grading period) will be considered honor students. Students with an incomplete will not be considered for the honor roll until they have met academic obligations. Students must have incomplete work completed within two weeks of the grading period ending. All students must have 3 LHS courses that record grades each grading period (3 per 9 weeks) to be eligible for High Honor or Honor Roll awards. For the school year, any student who has earned Honor Roll or High Honor Roll for each of the first three grading periods will receive Honor Roll or High Honor Roll recognition. Students who receive High Honor Roll for each of the first three grading periods will receive an Academic Letter. The academic letter will be awarded the first year the student attains that achievement; each succeeding year, the student will receive a pin for the same achievement. Achieving high honor roll in the fourth quarter does not qualify a student for the academic letter or pin.
