761 – Advanced Painting (formerly Painting 2-6)

Using techniques and knowledge gained in Painting 1, students will work with conceptual themes. Throughout this course, students utilize traditional painting techniques. The primary goal is to continue advancement of translating a subject onto the two dimensional surface. May be taken up to five semesters for credit (as the equivalent of previous Painting 2-6 courses).
