822 – Concert Band – 1 credit

823 - Concert Percussion Band - 1 credit

·         Full Year – Audition – Grades 10, 11, 12 – NO Fee

Concert Band and Symphonic Band are comprised of all 10th-12th grade instrumentalists in the Lancaster High School band program. Both bands are year-long courses. Musicians are placed in Concert Band or Symphonic Band by audition. Students in these courses study and perform the finest band literature and continue the development of refined, professional performance skills. Attendance at after-school sectionals and several performances are required for participation. Both bands participate at Ohio Music Education Association adjudicated events throughout the year. 

Percussionists meet separately most days and should sign up for Concert Band Percussion (823), instead of Concert Band (822).
