COTC MATH130 – Elementary Statistics/Statistics Honors – 1 credit (4 college credits)
· Full year – Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Must complete required College Credit Plus Paperwork and be accepted to COTC 5.0 GPA grading scale.
This course introduces basic statistical measures. Emphasis will be on core concepts and calculation of specific measures as well as appropriate application of those measures. Topics include measures of central tendency and dispersion, various statistical distributions (to include normal, student's t, Chi Square, and F) and confidence intervals, correlation and regression, sampling and hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and introductory probability concepts. College credit (4 college credits) will be awarded for this course.
