This group is a space for late-identified Autistic and/or ADHD adults — including those who are self-diagnosed — to gather, process, and just be with folks who get it.
Facilitated by Alex McLaughlin, MSW, LICSW, CYT-500 (they/them) — a fellow late-diagnosed AuDHDer.
Whether your diagnosis came last week or years ago, this group is for those who’ve spent a lifetime feeling “off” or “too much,” only to have the lightbulb moment hit: Ohhhh… this explains SO much.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to unmask, unlearn internalized ableism, reclaim identity, and hold space for all the grief, joy, rage, validation, acceptance and relief that comes with finding language for your experience.
You’re welcome to sign up for multiple sessions. If space is limited, priority will be given to folks who haven’t attended a prior group.
Location: Online via secure Zoom link
Cost: $50 per session
Sliding Scale: Two reduced-rate spots are available per group, with priority given to POGM/BIPOC and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ participants.
This group is open to residents of Wahpekute land (colonized as Minnesota), and welcomes all neurodivergent adults looking for authentic connection, laughter, and a little collective sigh of recognition.
We can’t wait to meet you!
A group for individuals exploring late diagnosed neurodivergence. You’ll find support around adjusting your lifestyle, addressing sensory discomfort, improving executive functioning, social & relational wellness & more.
Each week the group explores topics specific to living with a neurodivergent brain. A licensed therapist reviews coping skills & tools for managing in a world designed for neurotypicals.
There is also an opportunity for reflection & sharing. The group is welcoming and does not require your camera on or that you speak to the group. That is part of being neuro-affirming!
The group meets virtually on Sundays at 5pm.
Group size is limited & closed for each six week session.
