The group will meet online weekly Thursday 4:30-6:00 and is led by Leila Comer.
This group focuses on relationships, embodiment (being present in the body, despite anxious and depressive parts that show up) and shame resilience.
The structure of the group will allow space for each member to share current stressors and to be supported by the other members. The facilitator will guide conversation, pointing out relational patterns and highlighting skills to increase individual goals.
We ask for a 2 month commitment, which allows for the group members to have enough time and space to create safety and vulnerability.
The investment is $45-75 per meeting, pay as able.
The group is for folks who identify as male and BIPOC. This a space where folks can practice relational skills, vulnerability, being authentic, connecting to body, connecting to emotions, processing trauma/grief, and addressing shame/judgement. We will explore masculinity, social norms, hurt, anger, expectations, mental health, relationships, family, self-esteem, body image, parenting, upbringing, and needs.
Sliding scale and some insurances accepted. Currently building waitlist, Thursdays 5-6:30pm in Uptown.
