Enterprise

Thank you for all your support leading up to and the night of enterprise!

We had a very successful evening raising around $2,000! 10% of our profit will go towards Keep New Zealand Beautiful and we will have the remainder for our end of your activity.

The tamariki have spent the week researching, planning, budgeting and persuading to convince the kaiako as to what our activity should be.

Bhangara Roots Dance - Punjabi Language Week

On Friday the 24th of November, we did the Punjabi folk dance, Bhangra. This event was hosted because it was Punjabi language week, and it was hosted by the school bhangra, Bhangra Roots.

The places we mainly do Bhangra is when there's a newborn, a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, or any other festivals of happiness. We do bhangra with a smile on our face and doing it with all the energy you have in your big big body.

Today, we learnt some super cool steps. Most people don’t know the steps names, but I do. We did Tari Jhummar, Dhamaal, Bethak and lots more. The main thing was that everybody was trying their best, and had used all their energy! Plus, they had a smile on their face.

So, we did use a lot of energy, but it is purely worth it. We had a lot of fun, and some people’s feet started to hurt!
