Teacher Phase: Rejuvenation - At this point new teachers have the basic routines in place in their classrooms and are more able to focus on curriculum development, long-term planning, and best practices of teaching strategies. They feel a sense of accomplishment and are energized by a more accurate awareness of the realities of teahing. They begin to worry about whether they have done enough to prepare the students for end of year tests.
Review testing schedules and Mastery Connect
Review appropriate test preparation
Help with wrapping up third term, grade transmittal, deadlines, etc.
Reflect with Provisional Educator on JPAS goals
Continue to encourage provisional educator with positive feedback
Discuss concerns about students who may be struggling or needing interventions
Observe Provisional Educator and give constructive feedback
Provide emotional support as needed
