东汉焊珠金饰片

Donghan welded bead gold ornaments

This exhibit is a metalware from the Eastern Han Dynasty. The craftsmanship is very exquisite. The craftsman first hammered the gold into thin slices about 1 mm thick, first used small filigree wires to outline the outline, and then cut them into small pieces of high-temperature blow fusion with gold wires. The small particles of gold beads are welded on the thin gold sheet. It is now housed in Hepu Han Dynasty Culture Museum.
