Information Times News (Reporter Xu Yier correspondent Ling Haoxiang) under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Cultural relics, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Cultural relics, and the people's Government of Meishan City, sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Museum and the Sichuan Institute of Cultural relics and Archaeology, the "Shen Yin Reproduction-an Exhibition of Archaeological achievements of Ancient Battlefield sites in Jiangkou, Sichuan", co-organized by the Pengshan District Cultural relics Protection and Management Institute of Meishan City, opened at the Guangdong Museum yesterday (July 4) afternoon.

The exhibition displays 421 cultural relics related to Jiangkou ancient battlefield sites, mainly gold and silverware, as well as a few cultural relics of copper, iron, wood and other textures.

The exhibition will last until November 3 this year.

"the reappearance of Shen Yin-the Archaeological Achievement Exhibition of Ancient Battlefield sites in Jiangkou, Sichuan" is divided into three parts: the first part is "the riddle of Shen Yin", which tells the course of "Jiangkou Shen Yin" from legend to demonstration; the second part "Jiangkou Shen Yin" is divided into Daxi regime, restocking of gold and silver, and Jiangkou fierce battle, showing the history of the middle and late Ming Dynasty and before and after the establishment of the Daxi regime.

The third part, "underwater archaeology", is divided into new attempts-cofferdam archaeology, new methods-scientific and technological archaeology and public archaeology, mainly showing the process of site excavation and the new methods and techniques used in archaeology.

Four national first-class cultural relics recovered from the 'May 1 Pengshan District' case of illegal excavation and resale of cultural relics will also be unveiled in this exhibition.

For example, the golden seal of Tiger Button 'Grand Marshal Yongchang', which weighs 3195 grams, is a first-class cultural relic of the state, which was collected by the police from the criminal suspect.

The cultural relics dealer once bought the gold seal from the river thieves at a high price of 8 million, turned around and changed hands again at a sky-high price of 32 million. "

According to curator Lan Wei, the exhibition focuses on the archaeological excavations of "Jiangkou Shenyin site, one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in 2017", which is one of the major exhibitions of domestic cultural relics exchange at Guangdong Museum in 2019. It is also another important cultural relics exhibition for cultural exchanges between Guangdong and Sichuan after the successful launch of the "Ancient Shu Treasure-Sichuan Cultural relics Exhibition" in 2018.

In order to cooperate with the exhibition, the Guangdong Museum will expand its content through "Love Guangdong Reading" tabloids, Wechat guides, expert lectures, and so on. It will also create a panoramic virtual exhibition hall, where visitors can view the exhibition and key cultural relics by scanning the code on their mobile phones.

In addition, during the exhibition, the Guangdong Museum will successively launch educational activities such as "Shen Yinyue Gold-experience of Restoration of Ancient coins", "engraving the Ancient and engraving the New-Rubber Stamp carving", "searching for Dreams and returning Silver": Shen Yin's workshop on interactive drama and artistic creation in a special exhibition.

Jiangkou Town is located in Pengshan District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, where the Fu River merges into the Minjiang River.

It was recorded in the literature of the Qing Dynasty that this is the place where Zhang Xianzhong, the leader of the peasant army in the late Ming Dynasty, Shenyin, and there have been many local legends about Zhang Xianzhong at the mouth of the Yangtze River.

In the past 300 years, Jiangkou Shen Yin has never been forgotten.

At the end of 2015, experts from a number of domestic cultural and blog institutions gathered in Pengshan, and after many investigations and discussions, it was basically confirmed that Pengshan's "Jiangkou Shenyin site" is one of the historical records of Zhang Xianzhong's Shenyin center.

After a series of scientific exploration, in early 2017, the "Jiangkou Shenyin site" began formal archaeological excavation, a large number of gold and silver cultural relics reappeared in the world one after another, and cultural relics such as "Xiwang meritorious coin" and "Dashuntong treasure money" were discovered. it is proved that this is the central area of Jiangkou Shenyin.

The legend of Shen Yin, which has been handed down for hundreds of years, has been confirmed and Shen Yin has reappeared in the world.

As a result, the "Jiangkou Shenyin site" (that is, the Jiangkou ancient battlefield site) has also been awarded the "Top Ten New Archaeological discoveries of 2017".

It is reported that at present, the "Jiangkou Ancient Battlefield site" has been excavated twice in 2017 and 2018, resulting in a total of more than 42000 cultural relics. The excavation of the site has created three "firsts", that is, the first internal water cofferdam archaeology in China; the highest-level Shenbao site, which is directly confirmed by folklore; and Zhang Xianzhong's concubine gold book was found for the first time in China.
