It is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, and through joint consultation between the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural relics and Tsinghua University (Art Museum), based on the cultural relics of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties (as well as other historical periods before the Tang Dynasty), a special exhibition of culture and art of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties was held to present gifts to the Republic.

The theme of the exhibition, "and long days", alluded the Wadangji language of the Han Dynasty, which is not only a good wish for the birthday of the motherland, but also a deeper cultural significance for the audience to take advantage of the hints of these heavyweight cultural relics and works of art. truly understand why Chinese civilization can cultivate its own cultural genes in the historical trend of the continuous change of world civilization, and can be passed on from generation to generation.

The exhibition will last for 99 days from September 10 to December 17, implying that "the number of 99 is in harmony with Heaven" and "the 99 Universiade begins with the end of Heaven".

From the theme of the exhibition to the period of the exhibition, this special exhibition highlights the "fastidious" mind everywhere.

The Special Exhibition of Culture and Art of Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties is divided into seven units: the birth of the people (Stone Age to Shang Dynasty), the creation of Chuifa (Western Zhou Dynasty), the rise of Qin (Spring and Autumn and warring States), the throne of the Emperor (Qin Dynasty), the son of Heaven in the Center (Han Dynasty), pluralistic Convergence (Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern dynasties, Sui Dynasty) and Tianqu Prosperity (Tang Dynasty).

A total of 311 cultural relics collected from more than 40 cultural institutions in Shaanxi Province and 4 cultural relics collected by the Art Museum of Tsinghua University, including 189 first-class cultural relics, are on display.

Among them, the 18 cultural relics collected by the Ruiguo ruins Museum in Liangdai Village (hereinafter referred to as Ruibo) are favored by the Art Museum of Tsinghua University because of their "unique", "surprise and rarity", exquisite craftsmanship and inestimable historical, cultural and research value. it's a blessing for Ruibo!

The 18 fine cultural relics participating in the special exhibition are not only rich in variety, such as bronze, jade, gold, etc., but also of high grade, including 3 first-class precious cultural relics, namely, gold shoulder ornaments, gold-encrusted jade birds and jade birds, and 10 second-class cultural relics. they are bronze cover, hoop foot, bronze, bronze, dragon pattern jade ring, god dragon and Phoenix pattern jade handle shape, dragon dragon carving jade decoration, looking back jade Phoenix bird, jade animal noodles.

Five third-class cultural relics, namely, car scale decoration and bird assembly, Heng end decoration, round jade tube, octagonal jade tube.

These exquisite cultural relics are not only the representatives of more than 20,000 cultural relics unearthed at Ruiguo site in Liangdai Village, but also the first exhibition of cultural relics in Beijing since the opening of the museum, which is of great value and far-reaching significance.

The Art Museum of Tsinghua University, as an important platform for international cultural and artistic exchanges, is based on the policy of "highlighting the humanities, gathering art, fine works collection, academic research, internal and external exchanges, information dissemination, cultivating new styles and nurturing the elite".
