Hello Wolf Pack Families!
Our last 4 days of the 25-26 school year are here! Friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL, Tuesday, May 19th for students due to primary election day.
This is another 1st for our Wolf Pack as we are celebrating our first school year with all three grade levels and promoting our first class of 8th grade students! I truly am so proud of another year of big accomplishments from our students both academically and athletically!
In a short 3 years, we have built a strong foundation of traditions and GREATNESS that can be found everywhere you look! Thank you for supporting our school and your students. We truly could not do what we have done without a strong partnership with our families!
Thank you to our PTSA for hosting our first 8th grade dance! It was a fun night under the stars for our students.
PTSA 8th grade signs information: Monday 5/18, car riders will take theirs home. Tuesday 5/19, PTSA will be holding a drive through pick up from 5-7 for those who picked that option. Thursday 5/22, AFTER promotion will be the last opportunity to pick up the 8th grade promotion sign. Interested in being involved? Please come to our PTSA meeting Tuesday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. at ETMS! We look forward to meeting you!
Our 7th grade students worked with team leaders and myself to create fun spirit days to end the school year. Please see the details HERE for our 7th grade students.
6th grade students have their Explore Pathway selection on Wednesday, May 20th! We cannot wait to see their excitement once they find out their pathway for 7th and 8th grades.
Congratulations to our JV Girls Soccer Team who are the JCPS Champs! Congratulations to several of our Track and Field participants who are also City Champs! We have so much to be proud of recently.
To end the 25-26 school year, please take a moment to watch the updated video below that showcases our school! Thank you, Mr. Stivers, who has done it again with capturing what our school is all about -- from the time students walk in the door to when they leave for the day.

Dear Echo Trail Families,
At Echo Trail Middle School, we take great pride in our student-athletes and the community spirit that brings us together on game days. However, following recent reports from JCPS Athletics Officials and local law enforcement regarding student behavior and conduct at recent events, we find it necessary to reinforce our expectations to ensure a safe, positive environment for everyone.
To maintain the high standards of our school and the safety of our guests, the following policies are in effect for all games at Echo Trail and JCPS-sponsored events:
Mandatory Adult Supervision: All students attending athletic events must be accompanied by an acting supervising adult.
No Drop-Offs: There is strictly no student drop-off. Students will not be permitted to enter the event unless a supervising adult is present at the entrance to accompany them.
Unsupervised Students: Any student identified at an event without an adult guardian will be instructed to call their ride and must be picked up immediately.
We hold our students to the same code of conduct at a game as we do in the classroom.
Disciplinary Action: If a student is reported for disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior toward staff, officials, or monitoring adults, they will be barred from attending future athletic events.
School Consequences: Inappropriate conduct at sporting events is subject to school-day disciplinary action if the behavior violates the JCPS Student Support and Behavior Intervention Handbook.
Our goal is to keep the focus where it belongs: on the hard work and sportsmanship of our students on the field and court. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us restore a respectful and family-friendly atmosphere at our events.
Thank you for your continued support of Echo Trail Athletics.
Sincerely,
Kyle Carden
Echo Trail Athletic Director
