Hello Wolf Pack Families!
We have a short week with NO SCHOOL on Tuesday 11/7, and only 11 days until Thanksgiving Break. We are committed to staying consistent with our academic and behavior systems to make the most of each day.
The last two weeks, we have taken a small dip in our student attendance dropping from 95% to 94%. I have been encouraging our students the importance of showing up to school each and every day. Thank you for your partnership in our school wide attendance goals.
This Friday, we would like to celebrate and recognize all of the Veterans in our Wolfpack Family. I would like to extend a thank you to those who serve and have served our country.
Also this week, we will be hosting our “Family Locker Night” on Thursday 11/9. Please click here for more information.
Our PTSA is closing out our Membership Drive on 11/8. Our goal is to increase our membership by 50%. In order to reach our goal, we need 50 new members. Thank you to those who have already joined, and everyone who will join to continue to support our school.
We have had some awesome celebrations recently:
Our PTSA has successfully approved our mascot costume “GREATIE” and in the ordering process.
We had an outstanding first home basketball game. Congratulations to our basketball teams, cheerleaders, and dance team for representing the WOLFPACK! Thank you to our families, staff, and students who came out to support.
Congratulations to Alex, Paco, Brayden, and Chev for competing and representing our Chess Team by earning our first team points.

Dear Parent or Guardian,
As part of our effort to support the Whole Child, JCPS will be implementing a universal social and emotional screening for students in grades 6 - 12. We will be utilizing the BESS (Behavior and Emotional Screening System).
Universal social and emotional screening can provide a fair and impartial way of looking at how students are progressing in their social and emotional development. Screenings can also help identify areas where school personnel can improve or adjust our supports. Please understand that screening is NOT an assessment or an evaluation.
Students will be given the opportunity to complete a self-screener that will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Information from this survey will be used to help our staff identify supports that may benefit our students.
Participation in the screener is completely voluntary. Parents may review the screener upon request. If you do not want your child to participate, please complete the Google Form attached here by Nov. 10.
We appreciate your assistance as we work together to educate and support our student(s)
Sincerely,
Echo Trail Counseling Team
