Hello Wolf Pack Families!
I hope everyone had a wonderful break! We are ready to welcome our students back and pick up where we left off.
We gave our students a “Holiday Family Traditions” survey last week because we want to ensure that we recognize all of our students' family traditions. If you would like to donate any items that we could display in our front office, we certainly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
Shout-outs from last week:
Thank you to our PTSA for providing our staff with all the sweet treats!
ARCHERY - Many archers shot very well in their recent competition, but Congratulations to Patrick R. for finishing 9th overall in the tournament.
SWIM - Another great swim meet recently and many of our swimmers lower their times in their events. GREAT Job to the IM Relay team of Alyssa, Tatum, Marley, and Erin for finishing Top 10 overall in the IM relay event.
Congratulations to Arlo B for being the first Echo Trail Modern Band All-State Student! He will represent his peers at the KMEA Conference in February.

Check out our HERO point leaders for last week!
We are thrilled to announce that any student who has earned 75 or more HERO points this school year will be able to attend the Bellarmine Vs. Berea College Basketball Game on December 7th. This field trip will take place during the school day. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting event.
On Friday, November 10, students completed a Sense of Belonging check-in survey during Team Time. These can be located in a student's Google Classroom.
Throughout the year, we will take a temperature check of how students are doing in our school community. We (staff) reflect upon student voice so our staff feels in tune with how our students are thinking and feeling about middle school. You are welcome to view the introduction video here if you'd like.
We are committed to all students feeling like they belong at Echo Trail Middle School. Thanks for your support!
If your student has an academic question or social-emotional need, you can reach our counselors (Mr. Rul-lan and/or Ms. Thomas) or our Mental Health Practioner (MHP) Mrs. Sanders by filling out the Counselor Google Form.
As your child continues to settle into middle school, we wanted to take a moment to send out a reminder about the importance of completing homework assignments.
Homework is used to reinforce the skills and concepts that your child is learning at home. It is important that you are checking in DAILY with your child about the homework that he/she may have to complete.
We ask that you also check Infinite Campus regularly to stay up-to-date on your child’s progress and any missing assignments that he/she may have. Completing assignments in a timely manner and practicing outside of school will help your child be successful throughout the school year.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher directly. We appreciate your continued support!
Remember, you can submit photos from ETMS events! These photos will be considered for use in our first ever yearbook.
Please use the form linked here and contact kari.ward@jefferson.kyschools.us if you have any questions or feedback. The form will remain open throughout the school year (until the yearbook has to be finalized).
