Echo Trail Middle School Weekly Newsletter
November 20, 2023
We have a short week with only 2 days of school until our break from 11/22-11/24. As I have been communicating for the last several weeks, our staff is committed to making each day count. Thank you for your partnership in making this happen.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our school community. I am truly grateful for every donation, time volunteered, and trust this community has given me. I do not take this for granted and am proud of what we have already accomplished as a brand new school. I am beyond excited to see what is ahead of us and acknowledge this work cannot be done alone. THANK YOU!
We have some recent celebrations I would like to share:
Thank you to BSN for providing our football players with custom jerseys for them to keep due to our circumstances of not having a season this school year
We had a fun filled Winter Athletics Dance last Thursday. Thank you for the donations for the concessions stand, parent volunteers, and everyone who made it a success!
Congratulations to Adamy B. who was selected to participate in the ACDA Southern Division honor choir based on a successful audition (another FIRST for our school)!
I would also like to point out that we have been collaborating with our Newsletter Team on how to best serve and communicate with our families. You may have noticed some adjustments to the format. You will now see weekly items needed in each of the categories listed below.
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

Check out our HERO point leaders for last week!
On Friday, November 10, students completed a Sense of Belonging check-in survey during Team Time. These can be located in a student's Google Classroom.
Throughout the year, we will take a temperature check of how students are doing in our school community. We (staff) reflect upon student voice so our staff feels in tune with how our students are thinking and feeling about middle school. You are welcome to view the introduction video here if you'd like.
We are committed to all students feeling like they belong at Echo Trail Middle School. Thanks for your support!
If your student has an academic question or social-emotional need, you can reach our counselors (Mr. Rul-lan and/or Ms. Thomas) or our Mental Health Practioner (MHP) Mrs. Sanders by filling out the Counselor Google Form.
