OBJECTIVE: Students will create a PSA for family, friends, or community that will teach them about the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle. This can be a song, informational commercial, or informational poster


KEY VOCABULARY: PSA (Public Service Announcement)


MATERIALS:

  • Dependent on student choice for type of PSA either recorded device or poster

Day 3:

We are learning about the hamstrings muscles

I am successful when I can locate the hamstrings muscles

I am successful when I know a stretch that stretches the hamstrings

Tabata warm up: warming up is critical in preparing the hamstrings and all muscles for exercise.
