About Me
Coach Owen Plyler is a Colorado native. He attended Metropolitan State College of Denver and received his bachelors degree in K-12 physical education with a minor in coaching. In 2016, Coach Plyler received his M.A. in sports coaching from the University of Northern Colorado. Exercise and sports are his passions. During his free time, many hours are spent following and supporting the Denver Broncos, Boston Red Sox and Colorado Avalanche. In addition, Coach Plyler enjoys reading and spending time with his fiance and their dog. This is Coach Plyler's 15th year of teaching and he looks forward to continuing and maintaining the high level of excellence within the Powderhorn Elementary physical education program. In 2019, Coach Plyler was selected Jefferson County 5A boy's soccer coach of the year.
