This well-established scholarship assesses a broad range of technological projects. It emphasizes the ability to propose, refine, and conceptualize a project, develop it iteratively, reflect on the process, and utilize feedback for improvement. While understanding and function of code are considered within Digital Technology projects submitted under this scholarship, the primary focus lies in the overall project development and problem-solving process. This scholarship traditionally draws from a large Level 3 cohort, including students in Soft and Hard Materials, Food Technology, Digital Technologies, and Electronics.

The assessment will be in the form of a reflective report* (digital submission) based on experiences in developing a technological outcome(s).
*A report is an organised collection of evidence that clearly communicates the candidate's knowledge, understanding, and skills relevant to the Technology Scholarship standard.
The project should include all three strands of the Technology curriculum that must be at level 8 of the Technology curriculum:
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Scholarship entry must be the student’s independent work. The use of chatbots, generative AI, paraphrasing tools, or other tools that can automatically generate content is not permitted when writing the report.
