You You will be designing and then developing a practice site with your teacher or in your own group. There are 3 checkpoints. The next 4 weeks we will be documenting and creating a website.
On Google Classroom you will be given sharing rights to our Websites Evidence Templates that your teacher will complete with you during the next 4 weeks.
Note that if you do the PRE-ASSESSMENT WELL you will do the Internal just as well!
Develop an advanced Website!
Develop your website using HTML/CSS/PHP code to display data from your DATABASE.
Manage Data!
Using SQL develop a database that can be used to store DATA from input on a website page, queried by Website User, and Display all info too!
Here is the Glitch Beginners Website that has code you can use (CTRL+SHIFT+I for Developer Tools) which uses NO Bootstrap Styling! Here is the Intermediate Glitch Website that uses Bootstrap 4 Styling to develop the styling by using external library source (Bootstrap 4).
YOUR LEARNING PATH
Learn with TEACHER in class as you collectively build a website! See above for all the necessary links! (fun one but takes focus)-- OR
2. Doing the ePub Flipped Learning Videos! (recommend) --OR
Start with the WEBSITE ePub and then move onto the DATABASE ePub Learning.
3. Have another idea for a digital outcome?
If you have another idea for a digital outcome other than a website (example a Python Website using Flask). Please see your teacher and you will be filling out the Statement of Intent below in resources!
